Job Description:
The Service Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Service Department, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure the department's growth and profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Service Department, including actively scheduling and dispatching work orders to ensure timely completion.
Monitor and maintain acceptable levels of applied time, optimizing efficiency and productivity.
Serve as the primary contact for all service-related phone calls, providing technical support.
Estimate and quote in-house repairs, purchase necessary repair parts or components, and schedule assembly time upon approval.
Assist with overflow service work when necessary, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Bill out shop and field service projects accurately and promptly.
Maintain quality control on repairs and professional appearance of all shop service work Contribute to the training and development of service personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Foster a teamwork attitude among service personnel and all other company employees, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Maintain an acceptable shop appearance, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
Skills/
Qualifications:
Fluid Power Degree or Equivalent Experience; Strong Mechanical Background; Hydraulic Background Preferred; Hydraulic Cylinder, Pump, Motor, Valve Repair Highly Motivated Self-starter with a passion for excellence Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills (verbal & written) Proficient with Planning and Organization Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others Attention to detail and commitment to quality control Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure Job Type:
