Position will support service operations by providing Calibration and/or preventive maintenance and repair of HEPA filtered devices, including Biological Safety Cabinets, Clean Benches, and Clean rooms. Additional services are to be provided as trained for, including but not limited to: Decontamination, Laboratory Equipment repair and Calibration, Air Quality Monitoring (AMP) and Autoclave Validation Services.
Position is open for a technician in Philadelphia, PA and surrounding areas. A company vehicle is provided, overnight travel can be anticipated. Candidates will have field service experience and have a sound mechanical and electrical aptitude, a strong customer service focus, and excellent customer contact skills. Calibration or HVAC experience in the pharmaceutical and bio-medical fields are highly desired. Post-secondary education is preferred. Testing, certification and repair of Laminar Flow Equipment requires:
Lifting of various test equipment with weight ranges between 6 and 50 lbs.
Pushing and pulling a tool cart up to a weight of 200lbs.
Technician must have the ability to lift 75 lbs. and occasionally lift 50 lbs. overhead.
Sometimes extended periods of working overhead standing on a ladder are necessary.
Extensive driving from one customer location to another customer location.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
