CNC Set Up Mill, Lathe Machinists
The CNC Mill Machinists will Set Up and Operate Vertical CNC Mills. (Horizontal machine experience is a plus.)
The CNC Lathe Machinist will Set Up and Operate CNC Lathe equipment, and will perform manual edits when necessary.
He/she: enters instructions, including zero and reference points; sets tools, tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculates requirements using basic math, geometry and trigonometry; and proves part programs. He/she verifies settings by measuring position, first-run part, and sample work pieces while adhering to international standards; uses micrometer, vernier, and precision type measuring equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Must have 3 - 5 years of experience as a CNC Set Up Machinist.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with multiple levels in the organization
Possess the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to perform complete set up.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
