CMM Operator Quality Inspector

The CMM Operator and Quality Inspector will program and operate CMM inspection equipment and Machine Vision Systems. This individual is also accountable for regular inspection of work in process or completed on the shop floor, assuring that components produced meet internal designed manufacturing specifications and external relationships as set by the customer.
REQUIREMENTS
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Three to five years machining or quality inspection experience
3. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
4. Full understanding of GD&T and dimensional inspection experience
5. Knowledge of CMM's, PC DMIS and machine vision systems
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills
7. Knowledge of gauging methodology and metrology
8. Knowledge of sample submission procedures
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assume a lead role in operation and programming of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and Machine Vision systems.
Establish, implement, and monitor in-process inspection plans and techniques for the Manufacturing Department.
Work with the Manufacturing Department to solve in-house quality concerns, review non-conforming product, and recommend disposition.
Assures components and fasteners have been properly prepared for the next operation step.
Communicates quality policies and procedures to all employees in a professionally constructive and positive manner. Provides assistance to Quality Assurance auditors.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
