CNC Programmer - Mill

This CNC Programmer uses Mastercam to create Milling programs for B & G Manufacturing CNC systems. He/She works independently, utilizes time efficiently, and enjoys training and working with co-workers to solve problems, to assure the production of high quality machined components. Hourly wage starting at $26+, commensurate with experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide accurate and timely programming of CNC Program Systems and CNC Work Centers as assigned, from blueprint to first article.
Provide technical support to Lead personnel and set up personnel as needed including training on set ups, program changes as well as assist in resolving problems to avoid production delays.
Insure accuracy of jobs through the shop by identifying and correcting errors and/or changes on prints when needed. Collaborate with engineering to assure accurate machine operations.
Become knowledgeable of various materials, insert grades and the tooling required in all machining operations. Develop a thorough knowledge of blue print reading and have the ability to interpret most drawings.
Accurately operate and gain a thorough understanding of all aspects of Job Pack DNC system. Utilize CAM software to perform time studies on most machine parts as required. Provide estimated cycle times to Engineering personnel as requested.
Set a positive professional example for machine operators. Provide programming training for new employees as designated by supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Minimum 5 yrs. experience working as a CNC Lathe & Mill Programmer from blueprint to first article
Minimum 2yrs Master Cam and or Esprit software experience
CNC skills required include:
blueprint reading, set up, tooling, and troubleshooting; multi-axis programming
Experience with Quality Control testing equipment
Experience training CNC mill machining, programming and troubleshooting skills

Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required; Ability to position self to move, install/takeout, adjust, position, measure, and handle, materials weighing up to 70 pounds.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
