FSQA Systems Intern

Responsibilities
The responsibilities include assisting the FSQA Systems Team with annual SQF audit preparations while learning and supporting the established FSQA and Laboratory programs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
FSQA Programs Support:
Develop and deliver specific trainings (product catalogues, program details, customer requirements, regulatory compliance, etc.) for the FSQA, Operations, and Sales teams
Laboratory Program Support:
Perform an assessment of the Listeria Control and Monitoring Program, including possibly developing an Environ-Mapping tool to understand the factors impacting the location of LM positives
Collaborate with Food Safety teams, contract cleaning service and chemical supplier to address any gaps identified
Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations to identify and implement equipment design opportunities
SQF Audit Prep:
Perform necessary reviews of the program records for compliance
Understand and review the processes and how the programs are designed to ensure compliance
Conduct additional GMP and SSOP monitoring
Qualifications
Qualifications
Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year college working toward an associate or bachelor degree, entering their junior or senior year
Food Science, Animal Science or similar major preferred
Excellent computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
