Account Executive - Business to Business (B2B)

Within the Clemens Food Group, the National Account Executive is responsible for key account development activities across the B2B channel. Areas of focus will include national consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies and select regional companies. This role offers a great opportunity to focus on aligning business and customer goals to deliver unique channel solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning process for the B2B account base, to ensure that the organization is aligned to key priorities and deliverables.
Develop and align joint business plans, including strategic pricing agreements, marketing plans, category management, innovation, and promotional activity.
Collaborate with the internal support team to set execution plans that deliver on strategic priorities.
Collaborate with marketing, pricing, insights, culinary, and operations to develop programs and offerings that deepen strategic customer relationships.
Evaluate, select, and develop partnerships with new contract management customers to increase the overall breadth of the customer base.
Participate in key corporate initiatives as either a team member or steering team member to ensure that these cross-disciple efforts meet corporate objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, MBA is preferred
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business to business sales or marketing with a strong customer centered focus
Knowledge of food manufacturing operations, and emerging CPG dynamics is preferred
Demonstrated ability to initiate and execute measurable and sustainable process improvement in a sales organization
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and management presence; ability to present to senior management across the organization
Strong project management and analytics skills
Ability to excel in fast-paced environment where change and growth are part of the culture
Collaborative team player with service-orientation
Travel as needed ( 25%)



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
