This highly visible position will be based out of our headquarters facility in Hatfield, PA (Suburban Philadelphia). Brooks is experiencing solid growth in the high tech micro-electronics and industrial market space. To support our growth, we are seeking recent or soon to be university graduates to participate in our Management Development Program. These positions will be based out of our Headquarters facility in Hatfield, PA. Successful candidates will perform a variety of duties during the course of this 2 year rotational leadership development program.
Typical duties may include:
Gain valuable front-line leadership skills and experience directing and monitoring the activities of a team of employees.
Provide Process Engineering support to production and other departments for the manufacture of Brooks Instrument products.
Work with Engineering and other departments to successfully introduce new products or changes to existing products into production.
Work with internal resources and external vendors to procure raw materials, components and services as needed.
Plan and schedule production activities to achieve customer needs, marketing requirements, inventory and service level objectives while always ensuring a continuous production flow to manufacturing.
Perform and lead others in production-related activities: i.e. assembling, testing and calibrating flow measurement and control devices.
Utilize continuous improvement concepts and tools. Apply these tools to drive production and process efficiency and improve results versus key performance metrics.
Participate in initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.
Communicate with Executives, Managers and co-workers in formal and informal settings.
Requirements successful candidates will have:
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or technically related field of study. Majors in related fields of study are also encouraged to apply. GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Understanding and / or interest in production concepts.
Commitment to a career in manufacturing.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of ISO, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen preferred.
Must be a highly motivated self starter with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and problem solving ability.
Multi-tasking with a detail orientation and commitment to accountability in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking candidates who earned or will earn a BS degree in 2017 or 2018.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
