The Opportunity - Mechanical Assembler


Your Challenge:



  • Assembling components to a final configured product utilizing process and drawing instructions, blueprints, specialized tooling and fixtures, measuring equipment and hand tools


  • Reading and interpreting assembly drawings, parts lists, operation sheets and visual aids


  • Setting up and operating automatic prepping, loading and insertion equipment and performing any re-work from test failures


  • Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, speed slips, rivets or other fasteners


  • Operating drill presses, punch presses, riveting machines, hand files and scrapers


  • Verifying and documenting product quality at specified intervals


Your Expertise:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent


  • 2-3 years related work experience


  • Knowledge of various hand and power tools and operation techniques


  • Familiarity with blueprints and layout/process worksheets


  • Effective communication & team work skills


  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
