The Opportunity

Under very general supervision, maintain or oversee the maintenance of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income.

Your Challenge

  • Examine assigned accounting documents to verify accuracy of computations and uniform application of policies, procedures and acceptable accounting standards.

  • Review and verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.

  • Prepare income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and other accounting statements and reports.

  • May design, modify, install, and/or maintain general accounting systems to provide records of assets, liabilities, and financial statements.

  • Review, coordinate and provide documentation to support various internal and external audit requirements.

  • Perform statistical analysis to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes, and write narrative reports explaining findings.

Your Expertise?

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting preferably within a manufacturing environment

  • Extensive experience with General Ledgers and financial reporting

  • Advanced expertise in excel

  • Experience with Syspro is an asset

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
