Cost Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities:

The
Cost Accounting Analyst
is responsible for analyzing performance and identifying opportunity. This involves working with Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain. The ideal candidate would have manufacturing experience, be a self-starter, and is able to analyze and identify opportunity on their own.

Identify & Implement Opportunities to Improve Business

Executes Cost Estimates for New Products and Process Changes

Supports the Business on Costing Inquiries

Responsible for Costing Accuracy

Create & Distributes Operational Performance reports

Executes the Daily Costing Process

Reviews Cost Methodology and Implement Improvements

Manages the Daily Production Reporting Process

Lead Cross Functional groups/projects relating to business opportunities

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Cost Accounting experience
  • Standard Costing Systems experience
  • Food and/or Manufacturing Industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) required
  • SAP and/or Oracle experience
  • Ability and aspiration to grow into senior level position
  • Ability to speak, challenge and present at any level in the organization


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
