The Supply Operations Hatfield Milk Plant located in Hatfield, PA has openings for a Plant Office Assistant. POSITION PURPOSE: Perform general clerical duties for plant with primary responsibility for but not limited to: compiling and recording production data to prepare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of raw material, plant payroll, accounts payable, shipping and receiving and employee transactions in HR database. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Financials and Internal Compliance - Understand and adhere to Safeway's internal control procedures and accounting policies. Process invoices, P--Card accruals, prepare billings to customers, update pricing in the system. Maintain producer payroll records. Maintain all raw materials costs/records. Maintain daily loss/gains. Match accounts payables to purchase orders and receivers and voucher invoices. Prepare and submit balance weekly shipping, balance and enter daily production and downtime. Reconcile, submit and distribute period close accruals and journal ledges. Process plant payroll for hourly employees, including submittal of vacation, sick leave, and floaters for department staff. Maintain gift cards for employee recognition along with petty cash and responsible for ensuring all are reconciled and taxed accordingly. Complete SOX audits when directed. Employee Records Maintenance - Coordinate hiring process for plant which is inclusive of posting open hourly positions in Virtual Edge, forwarding resumes to hiring manager, manage pre-employment testing which includes drug screen, background check, and create offer letter and process personnel transactions in HR database. Handle FMLA leave records. Maintain attendance tracking reports for hourly employees. Track and file confidential personnel information regarding corrective actions, performance appraisals, leave of absences, Worker's Compensation including OSHA reports. Track departmental accruals and contractual pay increases for employees covered by a bargaining agreement. Reports -- Compile and post reports and charts throughout plant on 5S blue boards. Reconcile and distribute period end reports. Prepare and submit state reports, recycle reports, daily waste analysis reports. Maintain federal order reports. M & W daily calculations and reporting. Administrative/Clerical -- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department. Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitor to appropriate personnel. Maintains and updates filing system. Prioritize and organize work to meet daily deadlines. Sort and processing of mail. Other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrative proficiency in MS Office package Calendar and Accounts Payable programs Analytical to gather and summarize report data Excellent customer service and interpersonal Familiar with FMLA and Worker's Compensation Education Level: Minimum HS diploma or G.E.D., preferably with some college. Experience Level: 2+ years payroll experience, 2 years accounts payable experience, 2 years vendor and customer relations experiences. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
